But why oysters 🦪? In a coastal region where oysters are vital to our coves and harbors, could these seemingly ugly and raw be… beautiful? Hence, my quest as an artist started.

The answer for me was through the use of color and composition.

Coastal Maine early July pickings. The reds in radishes and the blue in the blueberries are so gorgeous- they surely will end up on a canvas soon. But oops, I ate them. 😊
